OFFICIAL RULES
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR TO WIN. A PURCHASE WILL NOT IMPROVE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. ALL FEDERAL, STATE, LOCAL AND MUNICIPAL LAWS AND REGULATIONS APPLY. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED.
Eligibility. The Sweepstakes (the “Sweepstakes”) is open to all eligible REALTORS®, Keynote Speakers with at least 10 speaking event completed and Church Organizations within the Louisville, KY area. Employees of Exclusive Virtual Assistant (formerly known as Virtual Assistant 502) or any of the foregoing companies’ affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising or promotional agencies or other agents, and the immediate family members of, and any persons domiciled with, such employees, are not eligible.
How to Enter. The Sweepstakes will begin at 12:00 pm on January 6, 2010 and end at 12:00 pm on February 28, 2010 (the “Sweepstakes Period”). To enter, you will need to go online and register THIS FIVE MINUTE SURVEY Limit one (1) entry per organization, person and e-mail address, regardless of method of entry.
No mechanical reproductions or facsimiles accepted. Sponsor is not responsible for incomplete, misdirected, lost, late or illegible entries, and all such entries will be disqualified. Any questions regarding the validity of an entry submitted shall be determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion. All entries become the property of the Sponsor and will not be acknowledged or returned. False or deceptive entries or acts, as determined by Sponsor, will render the entrant ineligible.
Winner Selection, Prizes and Odds. One (1) winner will be selected on or about December 1, 2009 in a random drawing from among all eligible entries received. The winner will receive one (1) Livescribe 2GB Pulse™ Smartpen. Approximate market value (“AMV”) of each prize is $169.99. The odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received. Odds of winning will be equal regardless of method of entry.
The Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of like value in the event the described prize(s), or any portion thereof, is unavailable for any reason whatsoever. All prizes will be awarded.
Winner Notification and Acceptance. Winners will be notified by email or telephone on or about March 2, 2010. Sponsor’s inability to reach winner, the return of a prize notification as undeliverable, winner’s failure to timely respond to prize notification, and/or winner’s failure to timely claim prize may result in disqualification and a substitute winner may be selected. Winner may be required to complete an affidavit of eligibility, and a liability and publicity release (except where prohibited by law). Failure to timely sign and return the affidavit or release, or to comply with any term or condition of these Official Rules, may result in a winner’s disqualification, the forfeiture of his or her interest in the prize, and the award of the prize to a substitute winner. If a dispute arises regarding who submitted an on-line entry, the entry will be deemed submitted by the holder of the e-mail account as determined by Sponsor. Winner may waive his or her right to receive the prize. Prize is nonassignable and nontransferable. No substitutions or cash equivalents allowed. Winners are solely responsible for reporting and payment of any taxes on prize. Except where prohibited, acceptance of a prize constitutes the winner’s consent to the publication of his or her name, biographical information and likeness in any media for any commercial or promotional purpose, without limitation or further compensation.
Participation. By participating, entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of Sponsor and the Sweepstakes judges appointed by Sponsor. Sponsor reserve the right to disqualify persons found tampering with or otherwise abusing any aspect of this Sweepstakes as solely determined by Sponsor. In the event the Sweepstakes is compromised by a virus, non-authorized human intervention, tampering or other causes beyond the reasonable control of Sponsor, which corrupts or impairs the administration, security, fairness or proper operation of the Sweepstakes, Sponsor reserves the right in its sole discretion to suspend, modify or terminate the Sweepstakes. Should the Sweepstakes be terminated prior to the stated expiration date, Sponsor reserves the right to award prizes based on the entries received before the termination date.
Construction. The invalidity or unenforceability of any provision of these rules shall not affect the validity or enforceability of any other provision. If any such provision is determined to be invalid or otherwise unenforceable, these rules shall be construed in accordance with their terms as if the invalid or unenforceable provision was not contained therein.
Sponsor. The Sweepstakes is sponsored by Exclusive Virtual Assistant (formerly known as Virtual Assistant 502). Sponsor’s decisions regarding the selection of winners and all other aspects of the Sweepstakes shall be final and binding in all respects. Sponsor will not be responsible for typographical, printing or other inadvertent errors in these Official Rules or in other materials relating to the Sweepstakes.
